PURPOSE OF ROLE
Group head manage team across Biddable -display/programmatic /video/
campaigns by ensuring the best in class media buying and implementation
through campaign KPIs delivery/optimization and ROI
GroupM Services
RESPONSIBILITIES
The GroupM Services team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric
approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies’
and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic
media campaigns.
The GroupM Services Buying Team delivers best in class media buying and
implementation.
The following are the responsibilities varying degree of complexity is subject
to individual job level
• Ensure teams’ understanding of clients’ brand portfolio, GroupM
Agencies deliverables and campaign KPIs
• Be a recognized expert of media behaviors and how the target
audience interacts with programmatic touchpoints and any crosschannel
delivery
• Lead in collaboration with GroupM Agencies initiatives aimed to
improve and enhance clients’ campaigns
• Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that
compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Participate to conversation with clients when specific expertise is
required
• Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure shared
accountability to deliver value to clients’ campaign
• Lead quality control and assurance for continuous improvement of
practices, processes and procedures
• Ensure team understanding and 100% compliance with finance
process (including end of campaign reconciliation) and GroupM
policies and procedures
• Lead and share knowledge on new trends, channels and
technologies across programmatic activation
INDIVIDUAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be expert in programmatic services and tactical planning process
• Be accountable for end to end processes on all assigned
programmatic client initiatives to ensure planning and execution
excellence
• Work closely with Campaign Delivery Team for regular review of
GroupM Agencies client’s requirements and development of case
practices
• Optimize team resources according to client workload
• Review team’s performance and promptly address possible skills
gap with training, coaching and other appropriate actions
• Identify and implement tools and process improvement through
automation which have increased the efficiencies of the team
• Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports
to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief
recommendations
• Coach and mentor your team and encourage a free exchange of
constructive feedback
• Ensure your brand campaigns and markets are well supported and
that they have all they need to be successful and operate
smoothly – keep them informed of new vendors, guidelines and
collateral resources
• Maintain publisher and vendor relationships and keep abreast with
everything programmatic by being constantly updated on new
product developments of DSP partners and other ad technology
partners
• Responsibility for hiring, staff supervision, training and career
development as well as serving as a positive role model with a
hard work ethic and vigorously reviewing all work to ensure high
quality standard
• Review team’s post-campaign inputs and include actionable
insights and analysis on final reports
• Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
MANDATORY
QUALIFICATIONS
AND TECHNICAL
SKILLS
• 6-8+ years of experience in Programmatic and Digital Marketing in
Media agencies
• Platform Certification across major DSP platforms (DV360, Trade
Desk,) and Google AdWords
• Exceptional numerical and analytical skills and meticulous
attention to details are required
• Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing
environment
• Leadership skills demonstrated by the ability to anticipate and
remove barrier to productivity, drive teams towards clear goals,
take effective decisions and challenge the status quo.
• Strive for excellence demonstrated by setting high standards for
yourself and others, holding teams accountable, focusing on
continuous optimization while mitigating risks.
