This Supply specialist role is critical to achieving that by driving and scaling SPO (Supply Path Optimization) as a practice across markets to deliver value back to the client

This requires the Supply Specialist to the have the following set of skills: evangelizing their products, assessing competition, defining vision, and collaborating with Ad tech partners, operations, and marketing to drive the successful delivery and adoption of their platform. In addition, they would have good understanding of programmatic ads ecosystem from advertisers’ perspective and would have already launched and scaled advertising products for the buyers.

Measures of success –

In three months, you would have:

  • Built up a thorough understanding of Unilever’s programmatic ecosystem and the Supply Path Optimization framework
  • Good understanding of Unilever’s inventory partnerships and how they work
  • Formed an understanding of the client’s marketing strategy across the region.
  • Established working relationships with SSP & DSP partners
  • Become familiar with the processes within Mindshare and within your team including using GroupM admin, media and finance software.

In six months, you would:

  • Manage initiatives, projects and pilots for deployment across the region
  • Supervising and guiding markets across inventory and supply-related queries, and facilitate training where necessary.
  • Assist with identifying problems and troubleshooting for local markets
  • Working closely with programmatic partners (DSPs, SSPs and Inventory Partners) to build/identify customised solutions for deployment across campaigns.
  • Thorough understanding of Unilever’s inventory partnerships and how they work

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Conceptualized and recommended initiatives & pilots for deployment across the region
  • Have a clear strategy for inventory and supply partnerships in the region
  • Proposed new ways of working and process improvements across all work streams
  • Proven yourself as a reliable POC for client stakeholders
  • Established a strong level of trust among junior members of the team


Responsibilities of the role:

  • Supply Strategy:
    • Develop a strategy on how to regionally manage supply partners that deliver value while meeting client KPIs. Constantly meet and evaluate new partners as needed.
    • Focus on identifying and growing supply for the client when it comes to video, display, native, etc. Identify and cultivate relationships with supply partners, piloting new initiatives and evaluating the performance of these initiatives.
    • Manage internal stakeholders in line with opportunity to exceed advertiser KPI expectations through use of efficient supply strategies
    • Build best practices across supply management within the region; establish benchmarks and learnings which are measurable
    • Responsible for market roll-out & capability building across local markets. Produce quarterly reports on market, industry and adoption rates for management team measuring the business value of the strategy.
  • Operations:
    • Ensure all technology partners are integrated seamlessly across campaigns
    • Develop a process workflow to streamline operations across multiple parties – trading team, local Mindshare team, technology partners, etc.
    • Build best practices across trading and operations within the region; establish benchmarks and learnings which are measurable
    • Constantly meet with, evaluate, and test new technology partners, data and supply vendors as needed
    • Support, manage and ensure high quality output from local supply leads who are responsible for end-to-end campaign management & governance.
    • Responsible for market roll-out & capability building agenda across local markets.
    • Oversee day to day relationship and communication with client & partners, as well as with local Mindshare teams
  • Platform Strategy & Development - Develop supply pillars for the Trade desk and practically deploy into day-to-day workflows, including but not limited to:
    • Operations – Working with the local markets & regional clients to review, develop and put in place improvements in the operational capabilities, workflows or new technology of the Trade Desk.
    • Efficiency - Working with the trading team to identify and put into practice performance efficiencies in the established working process.
    • Insights – Working with the internal data team to generate regional supply insights and POVs to share at scale across the local markets.

What you will need:

  • 7+ year experience in product management, product strategy, Experience in digital advertising landscape (ad servers, SSPs, RTB, PMP, DSPs, DMPs)
  • Deep understanding of supply side of advertising ecosystem
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Experience in building and managing products from ideation to launch working with a remote engineering team. Deep knowledge of product development dynamics and go-to-market tactics.
  • Comfortable with agile product development and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver product features that are dependent on other product teams
  • Ability to articulate and influence other product teams to help them see the value of problem we are solving and get necessary buy-in
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with teams spanning across sales/operations, product, engineering, marketing, customer success.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong communication (written and verbal), leadership, judgment, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated prior success within a startup culture, bringing cross-functional projects to closure
