About the role

Reporting into the Creative Lead, we’re looking for a curious and passionate Motion Designer to join our Creative Systems team.  This role will see you work collaboratively with our creative teams, coming up with compelling ideas and bringing them from concept to final delivery. You will create work across motion, design and social materials, for a wide range of local and global brands along with supporting and contributing to agency pitches.


The responsibilities


  • Work collaboratively with our multi-talent creative team, as well as external partners to deliver compelling concepts and high-quality creative outputs.
  • Clearly articulates conceptual and creative approaches, providing clear rationale for their decisions.
  • Has a passion for social-first video content, with a deep understanding of the best specs, lengths and practices.
  • Thorough understanding of the channels content is being produced for and the importance of producing bespoke vs adapted content.
  • Having a finger on the pulse with all things social. Identify opportunities for our clients to get involved in trends, platforms and different creative techniques.
  • Build strong and collaborative working relationships with clients and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Take on board feedback positively, showing humility and empathy at all times
  • Multi-task various projects while maintaining excellent communication
  • Detail oriented, ensuring quality control of all internal and external work


A bit about you


  • Minimum 3+ years experience as a Motion Designer, in an agency or in-house environment.
  • Experienced Adobe Creative Suite user, with an expertise in After Effects.
  • Has a strong background in motion, design and typography.
  • Is a conceptual thinker, who thrives on taking their ideas from concept to final creative output
  • Ability to effectively structure and articulate ideas
  • The confidence to try new things, bring in new ideas and a passion for big ideas and storytelling
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a creative team environment.
  • Works well under pressure and can work with tight requirements and deadlines
  • Illustration or 3D experience are a bonus, but not essential.
