GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Senior Search Specialist to join us.
Overview: Supports the Digital team in executing and optimizing digital media campaigns across search, social, and programmatic platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in digital marketing.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute cutting-edge SEM strategies across Google, Yahoo! Japan, and Bing.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis.
- Manage large-scale search campaigns and budgets.
- Optimize campaigns for maximum performance and ROI.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SEM trends and technologies.
Goals:
3 Months: Demonstrate expertise in managing complex search campaigns and achieving client objectives.
6 Months: Develop and implement innovative SEM strategies that deliver exceptional results.
12 Months: Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of agency-wide SEM best practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Media & Advertising, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Computer Science preferred).
- 2-3 years of specialized experience in search engine marketing. SEO experience is a plus.
- Deep understanding of Google Ads, Yahoo! Japan Ads, and Bing Ads, and analytics platforms.
- Proven track record of successful SEM campaign management.
- Strong analytical, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for continuous learning.
- Proactive, highly motivated, and results-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to give and receive feedback effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, responsive to deadlines, and able to multitask.
- Fluency in business English and Japanese. Bilingual ability is a plus.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills are a plus.
