ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our OpenDoor team as a Client Manager. This is a Full-Time position based in Sydney. This role plays a crucial part in supporting WPP's mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence and best in class service for Amazon in every country across its diverse businesses, including XCM, Prime Video, and RMI.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients
  • Establish a deep understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with Amazon clients, representing the OpenDoor team appropriately and ensuring that our campaigns are delivered to the highest quality
  • Provide insights by acting as an expert on the client's business, industry and competitors
  • A complete strategic view of the client business e.g. market share, purchase barriers, key competitors, drivers, tasks
  • Works alongside the client and agency partners to provide best-case outcomes using the agency resources effectively
  • Use language and processes which aligns with the client’s business
  • Clear understanding of the in-scope services of the client and the process for completing work above and beyond
  • Full view of the end-to-end campaign process
People
  • Openly communicate and collaborate with all internal key stakeholders regularly
  • Has expert knowledge and understanding of the wider agency structure, knowing when to tap into resource to enhance work
  • Plays a supporting role in the client team WIPs and is across the detail of current campaigns and future plans
Product
  • Engage with internal product teams including GroupM product and service teams to ensure you have an understanding about their offerings and relevance to our clients
  • Good knowledge of media planning principles (e.g. scheduling, flighting, recency, effective reach theories, seasonality, market prioritisation, roles of all communication channels) and ability to utilise agency and industry tools to enhance and support planned recommendation.
  • Full understanding and comprehension of the client brief and ability to discuss it internally with the broader OpenDoor team
  • Leverage industry and agency suite of tools to support planning, including the development of target audience, brand, growth priorities, insights, role of channel and channel priorities.
  • Brings innovation and creativity to the table, leveraging insights from across the market.
  • Seek to find, communicate and implement improvements in all aspects of the role
  • Deliver a well-informed POV in every meeting
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • Great communicator with clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at managing timelines and client expectations
  • Up to date, media landscape knowledge (able to articulate consumer trends and what they mean for clients)
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the patience to examine detail and create solutions
  • Results Driven. Passionate about delivering business results for clients, with the ability to identify and clearly articulate what’s working, and why
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant qualification in Business, Media or Marketing
  • Experience leading Projects, preferably with a qualification in Project Management
