The Strategic Planner is a vital member of the agency in developing transformative responses to client problems and providing perspective and analysis with actionable insights and recommendations. 
As the strategic planner for your assigned brands, you will partner and collaborate with clients and internal parties, and they will look to you as the brand’s expert in Goat’s dedication to content and influence.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS  
In three months:  
  • Become familiar with the internal and external strategy tools and research sources available  
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the business problems of assigned verticals, their contexts, and their communications environment.  
  • Meet the strategy requests and analysis of assigned clients  
In six months:  
  • Become the key Strategy representative for internal discussions and alignments for assigned verticals  
  • Weave data into compelling stories built around meaningful and relevant consumer insights  
  • Lead the development of strategic responses for clients 
  • Assist the Head of Strategy in new business pitches to grow experience in integrating the touchpoints, ideas, and thinking of internal stakeholders through Provocative Planning  
  
In twelve months:  
  • Lead all internal and external strategic discussions with management and senior clients  
  • Lead the development and presentation of new business opportunities   
  • Assist the Head of Strategy in workshops and learning sessions  
  
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:   
  • Be an agency expert in content strategy and influencer marketing 
  • Developing thorough and incisive analysis of strategic issues with actionable learnings and recommendations  
  • Create and present compelling presentations with the use of data and consumer insights  
  • Be the trusted advisor of our client leaders and key clients for strategic responses and communications needs.
