Overview of job

MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Digital and Innovation Executive to join us. In this role, you will work as part of the regional Hub in Singapore to drive Digital best practice and Tech and data led innovation for one of the largest brands in our portfolio. The role would be based out of our APAC Hub in Singapore and would involve working closely with multiple markets in the region

Measures of success

In three months, you would have:

  • You will be up to speed with MediaCom Hub’s services, tools and client business
  • Understand our value proposition and able to articulate this confidently
  • Have begun to build a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally

In six months, you would have:

  • Identified key opportunities either using Group Products and Tech or 3rd party technology which are best suited to drive tangible business growth for the client
  • Built a strong working relationship with key stakeholders that include Regional planning teams + Offshore delivery team + Measurement and Business Sciences team
  • Support the regional planning and in – market client teams to identify Brand and Market combinations to test new products and Platform innovations
  • Support regional lead with Project management of regionally led projects – this would include, process documentation, supporting proposals, coordination with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the delivery team to bring the ideas to life via flawless execution

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Started to reapply successful tests across a larger set of brand and market combinations
  • Have clear documentation of all Innovation initiatives
  • Have a solid understanding of the client’s business, particularly areas that need transformation and innovation within digital marketing
  • Lead projects independently

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Crystallise Innovation and Digital opportunities into execution plans that are embedded within the client’s overall campaign plans
  • Process documentation
  • Project management for centrally led projects
  • Ability to evaluate Tech. Data and content solutions that are best suited for the business
  • Manage workflow with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Works hands on with planning and analytics team to build plans and learning modules
  • Share and reapply successful use cases across the region

What you will need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, media, content or data
  • In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of Digital media and the most prevalent platforms – Facebook, Google, Twitter, would be a strong advantage
  • Innate curiosity and passion for new and emerging technology in the digital marketing space
  • Desire to challenge the norm while not losing sight of key priorities
  • Ability to present solutions to clients and stakeholders
  • Superior written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills
  • You should be culturally flexible and enjoy working with teams from across different countries, and be comfortable traveling if required
  • Strong GSuite and PowerPoint skills, comfortable using Excel to manipulate and analyse data.
