About the Role       
The Senior Director serves as the lead of a team/pod or market, responsible for a set of Media campaigns. The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring that budget is used optimally through the lens of campaign objectives and the universe of available inventory, both during tactical planning, and ongoing cross-channel optimizations.       
The Senior Business Director will also have oversight and responsibility for the day-to-day management of the tactical media plan and its proper implementation, working to implement the brand's overall media strategy in the context of changing marketplace conditions and opportunities. This role is responsible for demonstrating a strong working knowledge of the media space and available media research. The role sets the tone for how the account is managed by assuring focus on key client objectives and EssenceMediacom best practice.

Measures of success –       
In three months, you would have:      
  • Understand the category and brand objectives for the year
  • Understood Essence way of working
In six months, you would have:      
  • Initiated & delivered at least 2 key projects
  • Successfully lead media discussion with the client
In twelve months, you would have:      
  • Worked on Award entries
  • Worked and presented a 360 media approach 
Some of the things we'd like you to do   
  • Provide strategic communications & planning leadership on your set of brands
  • Help build effective media interventions on the back of strong Communication planning
  • Act as a senior level contact for the client and have a strong understanding of cross channel media strategy. Should be able to lead strategic conversations on Media and communication planning
  • Be responsible for the planning team career development & progression in the team
  • Develop creative ideas and disruptive communication innovations for the client, aligned with their business, customer, and brand goals.
A bit about yourself: 
  • Minimum 12-14 Years of experience handling digital media planning
  • Experience in handling multiple clients in top agencies is preferred
  • MBA – Marketing
