In this role, you will manage a set of clients and propose integrated / digital strategies across the full funnel including Traditional Media, Display, Mobile, Social & SEM to drive great results for our local & regional clients. In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • You should get familiar with the business background and media planning objectives of the accounts you are handling
  • You should start to build a good interpersonal relationship with clients through professional and good communications
  • You should be able to come up with media recommendations, in consultation with the Supervisor / Director and handle day-to-day client queries on the media recommendations
  • You should understand and be able to handle the internal processes in MediaCom in terms of planning, invoicing etc.
  • You should be confident to provide guidelines and transfer knowledge to Media Executives

 

In six months:

  • You should have presented media recommendations to clients face-to-face
  • You should have met all the clients that you work with, gained a fair knowledge of your clients’ businesses and understand how they work
  • You should be able to come up media plans and recommendation with less support by Supervisor / Associate Director
  • You should have developed ownership with your job duties and towards the accounts you are working on
  • You should have built a comfortable rapport with your team members and your clients

In 12 months:

  • You should have gained full knowledge on your clients’ businesses, and know what works in order to achieve the clients’ business objectives
  • You should have planned and executed client campaigns independently
  • You should have participated in new business pitches
  • You should be able to gate-keep flawless work quality of Media Executives

What your day job looks like at MediaCom:

  • Day-to-day client servicing and relationship management
  • Development of media recommendations and plans in partnership with the team
  • Digital & social display campaign planning, implementation and optimisation, along with integration with the wider comms
  • Deployment of best-in-market targeting & tracking tools
  • Extract, report & analyse clients’ digital campaign performance
  • Coaching junior staff and coordinate with various internal and external parties on campaign

 
Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate degree relating to business/marketing/communication.
  • 2-3 years’ solid experience in media planning/digital media, preferably in a media agency
  • Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Experience and knowledge on SEM is a plus
  • Experience with adserving tools such as Sizmek & Double Click
  • Rigorous & comfortable with numbers
  • Great knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with meeting clients & great presentation skills
  • Passionate about media & digital media
  • You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and you thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment
  • Candidates with less experience will consider as Executive
