Overview of job
Wavemaker is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Marketing Command Centre Manager to join us. In this role, you will be reporting to the Command Center Head and would assist him in managing end to end Insights solution delivered via Command Centre setup.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Individually contribute at Command Centre and streamline operations/ reporting with minimal supervision
  • One big win with Insights driving action ability towards Media, Communication, Campaign

In six months:

  • Identified and Integrated additional data sources to add richness of Insights and strategy
  • Executed 3 critical campaigns from conceptualisation to delivery (Integrating Media and Communication)

In 12 months:

  • Emerged as the go-to person both internally and amongst clients for digital solutions.
  • Become proficient is escalation handling and resolve conflicts.
  • Successfully mastered the art of winning pitches and awards.
  • Transformed the Command Centre as Centre of Excellence within Client’s organisation

What you’ll bring:

  • Based on client requirements, work with the larger Wavemaker/GroupM team in identifying solutions, evaluate partners, create project plans and manage those projects
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities / projects that are relevant and aids client’s business
  • Understand client objectives, category/competitive trends for various product categories
  • Explore and evaluate external partners on an ongoing basis.
  • Innovate on process – automated and manual to achieve operational efficiency and better quality of insights and reports
  • Timely and quality execution of existing listening/insight projects with set objectives defined by agency and client
  • Tracking time-resource engagement for all projects to ensure timely deliveries
  • Consult with client / agency to better reports and make them insightful and value adds for clients with live recommendations
  • Understanding of Quantitative and Qualitative research techniques
  • Know your tool well – Knowledge on social listening tools – Radian6, Visible Intelligence, Sysomos, Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Unmetric, Social Bakers etc.
  • Understanding of Content & Social platforms
  • Understanding of ORM process and Management
  • Strong grasp on technology
  • Understand client objectives, category/competitive trends for various product categories
  • Experience with data verification, quality control and analytics.
  • Experience presenting deliverables with commentary, verbatim and visualization of data.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduate/ Post Graduate – Management/ Statistics/ Research
  • Abreast with the latest tools & innovative research methodologies
  • Around 3-6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a market research firm, a market intelligence division of an IT MNC or Software industry, looking to further their career in Consulting and advisory
  • Experience in the FMCG/ Banking/ Financial Services industry with marketing and product management portfolios, is advantageous.
  • Good research skills, including data process, experienced in applying professional consulting and Research models
  • Effective in both verbal and writing when presenting / packaging research deliverables to the clients and public
  • Must be numerically-inclined and extremely comfortable in a data intensive role
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Excel in executing in an orderly, organized and structured fashion
  • Able to multi-task and have a strong capability to meet demanding timelines and customer expectations.
  • Enjoy working in fast paced environment with the ability to learn and master new areas quickly
  • Excellent PowerPoint Skills
