Overview of job 
The GroupM Nexus team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies’ and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns. We are currently looking for a SEO Executive to join us.

About the role 
The role of the SEO Executive is to deliver high quality SEO work efficiently and effectively for their clients with the support of the SEO Director. An SEO Executive is the day-to-day client contact on allocated areas and is responsible for maintaining GroupM Nexus’s world-class client service that creates strong relationships with our brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Delivery of SEO projects for clients including keyword research, content and technical audits and reporting, all in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Utilize a variety of SEO/Digital/Analytics tools to gather insights and compile weekly/monthly performance reports.
  • Perform regular SEO Health Checks and backlink audits on client websites to identify issues that may affect SEO performance.
  • Ensure all client requests are met and surpassed in a timely, professional and efficient manner.
  • Actively keep up to date with latest SEO and industry trends and share insights with the wider team.
  • Research and prepare background information for briefs/presentations/pitches.
 
In this role, your goals will be:
In three months: 
  • You will be able to provide high quality deliverables and communications to the client.
  • You will have assumed responsibility for SEO deliverables, including but not limited to keyword research, content and technical audits.
  • You will be able to generate insights by extracting and analyzing data using a variety of SEO/Digital/Analytics tools.
In six months: 
  • You will be able to provide SEO strategy to stakeholders and deliver results in line with the client’s objectives and business goals.
  • You will take ownership of improving the SEO process by actively searching for marketing and wider digital/SEO insights that are relevant for the team.
  • You will have built strong relationships with the wider team and have worked together to develop cross-channel strategies for the client.
In 12 months: 
  • You will have formed a strong relationship with your clients by delivering high quality work and effectively communicating strategy.
  • You will be able to share your SEO learnings and experience with the wider team and be recognized as an expert in your field.
  • You will actively assist in new business pitches, and ensure all relevant research is undertaken to address the new business opportunity.

What your day job looks like at GroupM Nexus: 
We are seeking a world-class practitioner to lead our performance product for our large global and multi-national clients that we service from Hong Kong. Although the focus will be on Performance, this candidate is expected to have worked with both brand and performance clients. They will have a high level of experience across global, regional and local digital platforms and be able to lead discussions from planning/insights through to implementation and reporting.

You will be expected to work closely with client leads and our analytics & innovation specialists to provide end-to-end solutions for clients.
 
 
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Knowledge of SEO and a passion to learn and adapt to new industry trends.
  • Attention to detail and has a track record at being resourceful.
  • Strong analytical skills. Has demonstrated the ability to understand and analyze large volumes of data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Shown the ability to articulate findings in a concise manner and interpret and manage client requests.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS and SQL is a bonus but not a must.
  • Relevant experience in SEO preferred. Experience in CRO/UX and Content Marketing is also accepted. But feel free to apply if you believe you have other experiences that enables you to quickly learn on the job.
