Overview of the role

This is a regional role where you will work as a member of the global Analytics, Intelligence, and Insights (AI&I) team for one of Mindshare’s largest B2B clients. However, this role is not just about data – people management and communication are a large and vital part of this role as well.

You will assist the team as an interface/translator between our media and data teams to troubleshoot any potential technical issues that may arise. These issues include, but are not exclusive to, not following prescribed data governance rules, bugs in data APIs, and human error.

You will occasionally assist our analysts in extracting data, deriving insights, and presenting them into a format (usually PowerPoint) that is easily digestible for internal and external stakeholders.


Reporting of the role

This role reports to the global Data Integrity Team Lead.

Measures of success


In 3 months:

  • Establish working relationships with our various regional teams (planners, data, specialist teams)
  • Gain a solid knowledge on our client’s business and how we work with them
  • Understand how the various platforms work together with our and the client’s systems
  • Understand the different measurements and dimensions we use in both brand and performance marketing and how they impact our strategy

In 6 months:

  • Become comfortable enough to communicate and/or present data analyses and issues to at least our internal stakeholders (non-clients) and teammates
  • Gain mastery on our various platforms and systems
  • Gain mastery on the required taxonomy and data integrity practices throughout the region


In 12 months:

  • Coordinate with regional business leaders (agency- and client-side) in APAC and New York to ensure compliance with established data standards
  • Collaborate with our analysts, planners, and specialists to create reports and presentations with actionable intelligence for our media and strategy teams
  • Gain expertise on how to pull data from our client and vendor platforms This includes, but is not exclusive to, Google Campaign Manager, Google Search Ads 360, LinkedIn, Twitter, and MediaMath
  • Manage and troubleshoot data within the data platform, Datorama, and other systems within our tech stack

What you will need:

  • A can-do, positive attitude that is open to learning and growing as an individual
  • A deep curiosity for how things work, a strong need to fix something if it is broken, a thirst for learning, and the drive and capacity to grow into the team and this role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to marketing, data analytics, or similar. We will consider other backgrounds if you have previously demonstrated a strong interest in marketing and data
  • Programming for this position is NOT a requirement, though it will be useful in gaining a deeper understanding of how our platforms work
  • Soft skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. As this is a regional role, you will be asked to detail specific problems to non-technical stakeholders and lay out action plans for them over chat, email, or video
  • Highly organized and meticulous because you will be managing multiple separate workstreams for various countries throughout the region
  • Strong attention to detail (e.g. being able to spot the difference between “_” and “__” in a 10,000-row spreadsheet, observing that “Bloomberg” and “bloomberg" are considered different things by a computer, etc.)
  • Nice to haves: Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Datorama and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience or exposure to programming and analytics tools such as Python, R, SPSS, MATLAB, etc.
