About the role
The Digital Media Director is responsible for leading our media buying and optimization team in Japan.
This role will lead a team of Search, Social, Programmatic and Investment experts to deliver best class digital media campaigns.
This is an exciting role for a digital media leader to create innovative campaigns for some of the worlds largest brands,
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Build a world class digital media team
- Manage a team of 30+ digital media specialist
- Establish best practice digital media processes
- Manage and develop key media owner relationships
- Develop innovative marketing campaigns
- Negotiate long term media partnerships
- Identify new platforms, partners & integrations
- Develop thought leadership pieces & case studies
- Build strong client relationships
A bit about yourself:
- Passionate about digital media and have a desire to be at the cutting edge of online advertising
- At least eight years’ experience within a digital-centric role with a track record of leadership and business growth
- Bi-lingual English and Japanese
- Strong understanding of the digital landscape, suppliers and technology
- Strong analytical skills
- Demonstrate the ability to present your strategic recommendations
- Highly developed interpersonal, team building and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated experience in senior stakeholder relationship building and management
- Proven capability in building, developing and mentoring people and teams
