Overview of job 

As the SEM manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day SEM projects’ management for your clients.
This includes communication with clients, control budget allocation and media performance, output strategy proposal and optimization plan.
You also need to train your team to improve SEM knowledge, execution, and analytics skills.
Support line manager to grow SEM business.

Measures of success – 
In 3 month:
  • Build relationships with all key stakeholders and quickly be familiar with the clients and products.
  • Accurately understand clients’ brief to assure effective and quality work.
  • Taken ownership and management of client accounts, including hands on implementation and optimization of SEM campaigns.
In 6 months:
  • Take the leading role in SEM proposal and strategic thinking.
  • Consistently assure accuracy of daily work including data analysis and output solid learnings.
  • Independently and efficiently communicate with the clients and internal teams.
In 12 months:
Target the clients’ annual KPIs effectively and efficiently.
Build good relationship with the clients and gain the trust.
 
 
Responsibilities of the role: 
  • Take the leading role to output SEM proposal.
  • Take the leading role to do data analytics and optimization plan.
  • Train your team members for basic SEM and data analytics’ skill.
  • Solid experience on Baidu search (at least 4 year) preferably also on 360/sogou/shenma.
  • Strong knowledge on by platform search TA and journey differences, and role of all current search product to advertisers.
  • Solid experience on performance conversion (for sales conversion) , familiar with all backend journey which impacted on conversion, preferably luxury experience.
  • Solid skill on Baidu operation and insight platform.
  • Gain the trust from your clients.
What you will need: 
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years working experience in Search Engine Marketing.
  • Better to have experience in serving similar industry clients or possess a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skill to make a good relationship with the clients. 
  • Solid skill on office software (Word, PPT, Excel) , expert skill in Excel.
  • English writing skill is nice to have.
  • Baidu Certification is must to have.
