Overview of job

Wavemaker is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Associate Business Director Digital to join us.
In this role, you will be driving digital Media for digital businesses in Bangalore. You will be responsible for strategic planning & managing clients.

This role reports to the Business Director- Digital

In Three Months

In this role, your goals will be:
  • Create integrated/digital media strategy for some of the finest clients in the country
  • Be responsible for client’s day-to-day deliverables
  • Understanding Wavemaker’s Provocative Planning Philosophy to deliver growth
In Six Months
  • Be responsible for client’s deliverables like Campaign Management, Competition analysis, Reports, Reviews, AOPs
  • Be able to plan on digital-first clients and also learn integrated planning along with it.
In 12 Months
  • Analyse media, business & competition learnings to form next year’s approach
  • Be able to bring integrated planning (Traditional & Digital) learning’s into conversations with the client
What Your Day Job Looks Like At Wavemaker
  • Strategic Thinking on brands
  • Working with various units within Wavemaker / Group M ecosystem
  • Presentation of strategy and implementation ideas to clients
  • Ensure projects/campaigns are tracked and measured based on agreed KPIs
  • Understanding of other mediums as you will have access to 360 degrees functioning of a media agency
  • Identifying new Media opportunities for client
  • Understanding new platforms.
  • Analyzing Media trends

  • Strong understanding of Audience based planning.
  • Strong understanding of Platform and Programmatic ecosystems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Strong Analytical Understanding for weekly meetings & Monthly meetings
  • Campaign Insights & application of the same in future campaigns
  • Up to date on all Platform changes and updates
  • Educating clients on the changes in the digital ecosystem.
 Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ Years of experience in Digital Media
  • Experience in handling large size digital clients across categories
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Competency in media planning across all digital platforms
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Comfortable with numbers with great attention to detail
