Overview of job
Candidate would be responsible for:
- Tracking all agencies’ spend pattern across digital, forecasting for future, formulate trading strategies, track pricing and enable group level benchmarking
- Work with digital trading team on pitches: benchmarking, reviewing & completing templates, etc
- Working with product & partnership specialists to create benchmarks for digital products, creating trading newsletters, maintaining digital trading credentials, etc
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Head, CTG Analytics with line reporting to the Head, Digital Trading

- Comprehensive view of digital ad spends across the funnel and across all platform types (search, social, video, affiliates, etc), buy types & product categories
- Design & drive revenue strategies across different verticals/units
Measures of success –
Successful in meeting internal pitch goals – measured through betterment of pricing; formulating digital spend strategy for the group
In three months, you would have:
- Understood the existing process of tracking and reporting of spends and revenue
- Understood the processes for price benchmarking & inflation
In six months, you would:
- Streamline dashboards/reports of digital trading
- Be responsible of internal benchmarking queries
- Track & maintain digital spends, revenue, inflation & benchmark data
In 12 months, you would have:
- Take charge of tracking and reporting of digital spend, inflation, etc
- Set up a process to measure & map the entire digital ad market (including non-GroupM) more intuitively
Responsibilities of the role:
1. Managing digital spend tracking & reporting; 2. Handle internal benchmarking process; 3. Digital inflation tracking; 4. In-charge of trading credentials; 5. Facilitate whitepapers – audience trends, emerging digital platforms, opportunity assessment, etc
What you will need:
- Experience in revenue strategy/equivalent function in any company, preferably a media company
- Attention to details
- Trustworthy
- Understanding of the digital planning ecosystem in India (preferrable):
- Experience with MIS reporting
- Experience with Google Analytics/Meta Ads Manager/Business Suite, etc
- Analytical skills
