This role requires strong relationship development skills across internal and external business partners and a passion for innovation, while maintaining a consistent focus on demand creation. Understanding of B2B strategy, marketing, with a strong background in customer acquisition strategies is an added advantage. The Digital Media Manager will plan, manage, coordinate and support all digital campaigns for Kyndryl across our key markets in both a leadership and supporting capacity. Key markets include: ASEAN, ANZ, India and Korea.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the planning and buying of digital activation campaigns (programmatic display, premium display, content syndication, mobile and paid social) and their subsequent implementation. You will be charged with identifying revenue and cost saving opportunities, executing tactics and optimizing digital programs. In addition, you will also create detailed digital marketing analysis and reports with insights and action items.



Overview of job

As media manager, you will be in charge of the planning and executing campaigns for Kyndryl. Measures of success

 

In three months:

  • Learned the basics of tech B2B business (Content Syndication + Digital Media)
  • Formed an understanding of the client’s marketing strategy across APAC markets.
  • You will be able to manage relevant agencies and 3rd party vendors in the execution of campaigns.

In six months:

  • Lead your own set of campaigns and be responsible for campaign optimization/ reporting.
  • You will understand which activities increase conversion rates throughout the lifecycle, eagerly leverage personas and buy journey intelligence
  • Communicate media plan materials to global and local teams including media plans, creative requirements, strategy, budgets etc.

 

In 12 months:

  • Taken control of the day to day management of the client’s media plan.
  • Proven yourself as a reliable point of contact for client stakeholders.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members on overall media execution.
  • Guide and contribute actively with specialist media teams to align with business objectives.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Support the local markets and manage the media vendors in planning and execution of media plans.
  • Manage the day to day operations of some of the centralized media buys and work with local and regional vendors and publishers.
  • Use and analyze data to inform media strategies and optimizations
  • Responsible for being partner and expert on digital to local markets, clients and colleagues in the Ogilvy and Mindshare.
  • Play an integral role in the planning and management of the Digital Media budget.
  • Ensuring complete and actionable analysis of digital buys and optimizations of future campaigns based on those learnings
  • Communicate media plan materials to global and local teams including media plans, creative requirements, strategy, budgets etc.
  • Maintain a schedule of digital campaigns and ensure delivery is on time and on budget
  • Aggressively pursue and implement new media ideas and applications that build Kyndryl’s business across all programs
  • Devise and execute A/B tests to drive continuous optimization, bringing learnings in to future campaign activities
  • Measure and analyze results. Regular reports on what is working, what is not and propose adjustments to strategies and tactics.
  • Understand organizational and product goals and map them to specific project deliverables.

 

What you will need:

  • At least 4+  years of digital media marketing experience working for industry leading company or agency with significant media budgets.
  • Media Planning, Programmatic and/or Search experience would be highly beneficial
  • Media planning experience (agency preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business goals and develop unique media opportunities that deliver on the business goal
  • Solid quantitative/analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of conceptualizing programs, selling-in internally and executing
  • Ability to interface and manage cross functional internal and client teams
  • Experience interacting with vendors/contractors, including effective project scoping, managing for results, and financial and operational accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable delivering recommendations to all management levels.
