Overview

GroupM is the leading global media investment management operation in the world. Finecast, a part of GroupM, enables advertisers to precision-target viewers across multiple on demand, linear and live streaming TV environments.

We are looking for a Product Lead to support Finecast’s accelerated growth in India, responsible for evangelizing Finecast across the market, client strategy and planning, revenue ownership, building a client base, and building and leading a team.

The Role Objective

The right person is going to play a critical role in supporting Finecast’s accelerated growth in India; Primarily this role will focus on:

  •  Working with stakeholders in the business, as well as external suppliers and technology providers, to build out and maintain a cohesive strategy for product development and management.
  • To educate and inspire clients regarding Finecast products.
  • The successful candidate will work within the Product, Data, & Analytics team and report directly to the Head of Product, Data, and Analytics.
  • Provide impeccable Product leadership to a growing team
  • This role is required to support the product and platform developments that will enable Finecast to build a best in class set of features and functionality, which supports the requirements and expectations of clients, whilst delivering against aggressive growth targets. The decisions made around the platform must reflect the short terms needs to grow, as well as the longer term aspirations of achieving a solid base on which to build.
  • The Finecast products consist of technical solutions, services, and operations that allow for effective delivery and measurement of Advanced and Addressable TV advertising.
  • Management of the product will involve the design, creation, enhancement, and maintenance of new and existing features, functionality, and processes

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 10+years product management or development
  • Proven record of delivering on key business objectives
  • Media industry experience, preferably within an agency, ad tech company or media owner
  • Knowledge of media trading, ideally video and TV
  • Project management (agile, waterfall, etc.)
  • Comfortable in speaking to any level of seniority
  • Exposure to business development practices
  • Knowledge of and experience with:

o Digital advertising technology

o Front-end development and UX

o Data management and analytics

o Proficiency with SQL across multiple database platforms (MySQL, SQLServer)


Responsibilities
  • The assessment and prioritisation of projects to determine the focus
  • Identify and prioritise new product features to enhance the Finecast offering
  • Define and execute product vision and strategy for current and new products 
  • Gather and prioritise business requirements and needs from relevant stakeholders, both internally within Finecast and externally with GroupM, agencies and clients
  • Research market trends, new technologies and competitor offerings to keep up to date with the industry and inform the product roadmap
  • Design and scope new products to align with the strategy of the business 
  • Support and input into the global product strategy, allowing for alignment between the regions in which Finecast operates
  • Review the assessment and enhancement of current product suite to ensure that they are fit for their purpose
  • Work closely with agency partners to help build addressable TV into their client strategic framework, helping them to articulate a clear benefit of including Finecast in their “screens” strategy
  • Integrate the use of Finecast’s Household planning tools to understand, refine and develop data-driven addressable TV activations based on what their client is trying to achieve
  • Understand key drivers of growth and develop use cases for addressable TV that use data, technology, and scale to demonstrate meaningful and measurable results
  • Develop and manage client-onboarding, ensuring your strategic approach with every client is integrated within your agency team and internally with the Finecast
  • Develop the measures of success for each client strategy and addressable TV activation you design with the client. Analyse and synthesize the data you have available to you and communicate your recommendations to the agency that glean insight and learnings that support your strategic recommendation
  • Create competitor-insights content and educate the internal teams so that they are aware of other comparable product in the market

  • Work with product marketing on product positioning so that there is consistent messaging delivered 

  • Work with third-party suppliers to coordinate and manage ongoing service agreements

  • Manage RFPs for new systems and services related to product development

  • Lead testing programmes for new products and features

  • Keep business stakeholders informed on product roadmap and development

  • Support business investment decision with insight and business case development

  • Inform product pricing decisions to ensure profitability
