The role:

The Performance Manager will be the point of contact for all things paid search, working closely with counterparts across social and programmatic. This role will be solely working across Mars. You will be work closely with the global search lead for Mars and contribute towards a best in class playbook. This is a unique opportunity working closely with MediaCom across the wider Mars marketing mix, and Essence for craft development and best practice.


Responsibilities

Client:
  • Own and maintain relationship with primary client point of contact and build relationships with senior and VP clients
  • Ensure client expectations are being set and met for every campaign and are clearly defined
  • Manage client satisfaction throughout the campaign lifecycle and beyond, ensuring issues and challenges are actively identified and mitigated
  • Manage commercials of account(s), including staffing / scope and financials potential risks and issues
  • Interrogate work before client delivery to ensure it meets the brief and expectations
  • Global coordination by facilitating knowledge and context sharing across Essence regions
  • Analyze information skillfully provided by team members to problem solve creatively, troubleshoot, and develop alternative solutions
Planning:
  • Interpret briefs and recommend a media plans that deliver against the business objectives
    • Coordinate with Programmatic/Social Practice leads to create holistic media recommendation for the Foods Pod
    • Budget allocation/Prioritization of channels/Audience Segmentation/Campaign Phasing/KPIs alignment
    • Presentation to Client for approval and sharing final media plan with GMS
  • Once the campaign go live - oversee performance/pacing and make recommendations for optimization of campaigns at all levels; across channels, partners, placements, products and creative concepts to deliver optimal performance
    • Produce insightful analysis and engaging campaign reviews for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of our planning, optimisation and management of media

Search Practice
  • Work with global search lead to build and share global best practice playbook
  • Provide guidance on search APAC campaigns
  • Accountable for Search overall KPI for APAC
