Position at GroupM

As a Trading Manager, you will have the primary responsibility to assist the Pricing & ATL Assoc. Trading Director in Deal & Vendor Tracking/ Monitoring, evaluating new and existing prop media deals, revenue and budgets; where superior media skills (strategic and operational) are essential given that majority of spends and revenue is invested in ATL. Given how media is evolving, the candidate needs to have deep understanding of the media landscape (ATL, OOH and Digital).

Likewise, you are expected to demonstrate a future-facing understanding of the evolving tech-enabled consumer experience landscape; and to support in the overall consumer experience planning process.


Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Pricing & ATL Assoc. Media Trading Director

In this role, your goals will be:

  • Delivery of ATL Trading revenue targets for the full year, whilst also delivering on sustainable Trading revenue target (as a % of the Total Trading revenue) i.e. Prop Media Inventory, Enhanced Media and other ATL trading models.
  • Establish, manage and maintain strong ATL (including OOH) vendor relationships to ensure strong collaboration between GroupM and its vendors on trading.

What your day job looks like :
  • Meetings with media suppliers.
  • Interaction with agencies trading leads and, if needed, clients.
  • Implementation of campaigns.
  • Tracking of revenue.


What you’ll bring:
  • Must be able to interact with agencies and vendors with diplomacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to remain proactive, flexible, resourceful, and efficient.
  • Must have a strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced excel, and powerpoint capability.
  • Must possess a supportive attitude.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Must be knowledgeable in both ATL and OOH trading, planning & buying.
  • Must possess strong negotiation skills.
  • Must be a fast-learner.
  • Must be attentive to details and high comfort level to numbers.
