In this role, you will lead all aspects of the learning experience design for all GroupM agencies. Designing and delivering best-in-class learning experiences for our talent 

Job Summary:

As the Learning and Development Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees within Singapore. Reporting to both the Singapore HR Lead and the APAC L&D Lead, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop training strategies, and execute initiatives that align with our business objectives.


MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

IN THREE MONTHS

• Understand GroupM’ s business goals and talent objectives and understand the role Learning & Effectiveness plays to drive our people and business forward.
• Leverage our new job architecture to build a plan for career paths, learning and mobility.

IN SIX MONTHS

• Leveraging our learning technology to support the facilitation, and management of learning throughout the employee lifecycle from hire to separation.
• Through consultation with the business, analyze and design a country plan for the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning linked to our job architecture.

IN 12 MONTHS

• Deliver learning solutions (independently/via the team/train the trainer/vendors) ensuring measurement of learning, behavior and business outcomes.
• Ensure that the content we develop and the trainers who deliver it are at the best possible standard.
• Consult and create learning experiences that close gaps and drive business results.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  1. Design and Implement Learning and Development Programs:
    • Collaborate with agency leads and HRBPs to assess learning needs and develop training programs that support organizational goals.
    • Design and deliver effective learning materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, and other relevant resources.
    • Leverage various instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create engaging and interactive training content.
  2. Leadership and Stakeholder Management:
    • Build strong relationships with agency leads, HRBPs, and subject matter experts to understand their needs and provide guidance on learning and development strategies.
    • Work closely with the APAC L&D Lead and Singapore HR Lead to ensure alignment with global L&D initiatives and regional priorities.
    • Provide guidance and support to line managers to foster a culture of continuous learning and development within their teams.
  3. Training Delivery and Facilitation:
    • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and application of skills.
    • Collaborate with external vendors, trainers, and subject matter experts to deliver specialized training programs as needed.
  4. Learning Evaluation and Improvement:
    • Develop metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs and measure the impact on employee performance.
    • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve learning experiences and address emerging needs.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  5. Learning Analytics / Ops Support / Others:
  • Primary custodian & owner of learning-related data and analytics in the LMS (Totara). Training Record Uploads + Tracking + Creation of Courses + Reporting, CultureAmp systems support & analysis of data (subject to rights).
  • First point of contact for all learning ops related activities and assist in preparation of learning budgets and project plans as needed.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• The ideal candidate has a background in Adult Learning / Instructional Design with experience operating on enterprise-wide change projects.
• Experience facilitating to all levels and audiences an advantage as well as experience authoring eLearning content (Articulate).
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
