We are currently looking for a Planner to join us. In this role, you will be responsible as a supporting role in delivering integrated planning recommendations and ensuring smooth account coordination internally and externally with our clients.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
- You should be familiar with our proprietary tools & standard industry tools and team/account process.
- You should be able to come up with media recommendations, in consultation with the Business Director / Planning Director and handle day-to-day client queries on the media recommendations.
- You should understand and be able to handle the internal processes in WPP Media in terms of planning, invoicing, and activations etc…
In six months:
- You should have master client reporting and tracking of booked media.
- You would have confidently presented media recommendations to clients face-to-face.
- You should have met all the clients that you work with, gained a fair knowledge of your clients’ businesses, and understand how they work.
- You should have built a comfortable rapport with your team members and your clients.
In 12 months:
- You should have gained full knowledge/overview on your clients’ businesses and know what works in order to achieve the clients’ business objectives.
- You should be able to handle clients’ day-to-day activities and be able to propose ideas and challenge the briefs/requests.
- You should have participated in new business pitches.
What your day job looks like at Mindshare:
- Day-to-day client servicing and relationship management.
- Work with various teams internally to support the client’s requests and manage campaign executions.
- Offline campaign planning, including Print, OOH, to support entire campaign recommendation.
- Digital & social display campaign planning, implementation, and optimisation, along with integration with the wider comms.
- Deployment of best-in-market targeting & tracking tools.
- Extract, report & analyse clients’ digital campaign performance.
Minimum qualifications:
- Graduate degree relating to business/marketing/communication.
- 2 years’ experience in media planning/digital media, preferably in a media agency.
- Excellent in spoken and written English & Chinese. (both Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Experience and knowledge on SEM are a plus.
- Experience with industry tools such admanGO.
- Rigorous & comfortable with numbers.
- Sensitive to numbers and great knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint.
- Comfortable with meeting clients & great presentation skills.
- A strong and genuine interest in media and an appreciation of the part it plays in advertising is vital.
- You are a team player with good interpersonal skills, and you thrive in an energetic and fast paced environment.
- Candidates with less experience will consider as Media Executive.
