Position at Wavemaker

Ecommerce Planner will manage the ecommerce requirements and work on ecommerce plans both on-platform and off- platform channels. You must have a comprehensive experience on digital and ecommerce and its application to client’s business. The role is also expected to maintain and build good relationship with internal and external teams to facilitate daily operation.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
In three months:
• Understand the client’s business and independently respond to queries from client
• Create media plans and oversee execution
• Demonstrate cooperative spirit and leadership with team members
In six months:
• Familiarity with GroupM and Wavemaker Tools to upscale quality of planning proposal
• Utilize comprehensive ecommerce knowledge base and synthesize information into ideas
• Present plan recommendations to client teams
• Manage client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information
• Work with analytic partners to gauge media performance and KPI’s to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
• Manage internal meetings with other departments and call on agency resources to strengthen ideas
In 12 months:
• Foster a good working relationship across stakeholders to facilitate flawless execution of plans
• Establish and grow a strong relationship with the client through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the client’s basic business issues / maintain client contact
• Steward relationship with outside agency partners
• Begin to understand financial implications of client contracts, plan changes etc 
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
• Oversee e-commerce campaigns from planning to execution, and track performance based on objective and targets o Utilize comprehensive digital and ecommerce knowledge base and synthesize information into ideas
• Analyze performance to optimize day-to-day and deliver in-campaign and/or post- mortem reports
• Manage client requests – i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information o Foster a good working relationship across all client teams to facilitate flawless execution of plans
• Establish and grow a strong relationship with the client through a demonstration of industry knowledge and of the client’s basic business issues / maintain client contact
• Begin to understand financial implications of client contracts, plan changes etc.
• Coordinate with internal teams for briefing, alignment, and execution of e-commerce campaigns, and manage meetings with other departments and call on agency resources to strengthen ideas
• Work with external partners to gauge media performance and KPI’s to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were met
• Steward relationship with outside agency partners
