Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a National Head - Product & Strategy to join us.   

In line with Mindshare’s new vision of “Good Growth”, we are looking for a leader to elevate our Product & Strategic capabilities to help deliver solid, sustainable growth for our clients & ourselves. 

At the core, the role is about translating a deep understanding of consumer attitudes, behaviour and motivators to a growth strategy for our clients’ brands & business. It is a pivotal role, working closely with Unit Leads, the National Head of Digital and The National Head of Exchange.

Reporting of the role

This position reports to the CEO of Mindshare South Asia and is on the Mindshare India Executive Committee.

This person leads a team of over 25 strategists with diverse skills across Consumer research, Media strategy, Communications strategy and Analytics .

Responsibilities of the role:

Elevating the strategic delivery for our diverse portfolio of clients: Within each unit, we have an array of blue-chip clients with assigned strategy leads to drive their brand’s annual and campaign strategies. The National Head of Product and Strategy will guide these strategists and ensure their clients have access to the right tools, solutions and best practices. They will also engage with these clients on a periodic basis to elevate our relationship to that of a true consultant.

Lead the thinking on New Business Pitches: Provide a sharp understanding of consumer path to purchase with the category, deploy the right solutions to drive a competitive advantage

Product enhancement and Partnerships: On one hand, work with the Mindshare Global Product community in the evolution of the global suite of products, localizing best practices, etc. On the other hand, identify local partners to collaborate with and build/enhance solutions bespoke to the market (an example of this would be the creation of KYVE with Vidooly)

Fostering a strategy community: Create a structured engagement plan within the India product and strategy team to enable collaboration and sharing of challenges & successes. Work with talent team on skill development, recognition programs, etc.

Drive Consulting Revenue: Work with Client Leadership and Strategy leads to drive project revenue. This would be across areas like Insights, Analytics, GTM consulting, Media consulting, etc.
