Position at Wavemaker

You will have responsibility for running a portfolio of high-profile multinational brands with services scope focused on innovation, communications planning, and media campaign implementation management, by leveraging your insights, digital and strategy skill set.

There is frequent high level client contact, and you'll be the face of Wavemaker to the regional and global clients. You will lead the client relationship while also being responsible for maintaining the quality of contracted services, lobbying additional assignments as well as developing appetite for and building revenues from out-of-scope offerings and value add services. As well as driving top-level client scores you’ll also be aligning market teams on the global tools, driving test/learn digital innovations and apply analytics in a consistent fashion to steer investment decisions.

As the Regional Managing Partner, you will be tasked with meeting KPI’s, driving adaptive marketing initiatives, the allocation of resources, process, and systems, across the portfolio.

This role reports into the Wavemaker APAC CEO

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Entrenching senior client relationships that position Wavemaker as a principal business partner of the client/s. Be unafraid to push back, be audacious and stand your ground in terms of ideas. 
  • Build client satisfaction by soliciting feedback and operating like a consultant 
  • Acts as a client visionary by bringing a highly valued perspective to the client based on a deep understanding of their business, issues, and opportunities
  • Overall strategic approach on the account/s designed and delivered to meet Client’s business objectives and strategies. Oversees the implementation of the annual planning in conjunction with the client team
  • Generates and communicates a shared goal and unifies a team in the pursuit of a common objective.
  • Leading and provide timely and actionable feedback to the team to aid in their development and progress to the regional Wavemaker team.
  • Ensuring operational excellence in delivery to the customer
  • Engagement with internal stakeholders and support teams

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience in client communication and management, working with senior client stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple brands/clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to create/interpret content and clearly communicate to senior client stakeholders
  • Able to work to get the best from every member of the team, motivating the team to over-deliver against client expectation
  • Experience managing process-driven client requirements
  • Ability to provide strategic digital direction across multiple brands
  • Experience in Digital Transformation projects (eg. using 1stparty data, customer journey mapping)
  • Understanding of the role of channels to meet business objectives
  • Knowledge of Facebook, Google GMP & Ads, analytics and ad tech platform knowledge
  • Understanding of the Digital Media Landscape to identify opportunities
