About the role
As Digital Director, you will support digital function, providing a vision, outlining opportunities, and setting the digital roadmap for the team. You will lead digital consultations to senior clients addressing business concerns and opportunities. Through thought leadership, best practice and innovation internally you will influence and inspire our people to ensure we have great digital talent and skillsets delivering great work.
This is an opportunity to work across an award-winning client, notably Amazon’s #catinthebox campaign which took home three awards at the Festival of Media Global Awards; Gold for Best Engagement Strategy, gold for Best Event or Experiential Campaign, and silver for Best Direct to Consumer Marketing Campaign.
What will make you stand out
- Proactively planning and implementing digital development and growth of the client
- Developing strategy and digital channel recommendations working closely with the Marketplace Director and Client Director
- Lead a team of digital managers and executives
- Compiling monthly expenditure trackers and assisting in deal delivery conversations across publishers, Account Management and Product teams.
- Using Spectra and Matrix to check loadings and spend tracking
- Overseeing planning and implementation of Product and Content & Partnership teams to ensure alignment with overall strategy
- Managing overall output and workflow of the team
- Ensuring delivery of a digital solution which is relevant to the client’s business/brand by working with the planning team to fine tune budget allocation, weights, phasing, site mix with creation of the media plan
More about You
- 5+ years experience in digital media planning / activation
- Experienced in client communications and management, working with senior client stakeholders (e.g. Head of Digital, Group Digital Director)
- Able to manage multiple brands/clients in a fast-paced environment
- Create/interpret content and clearly communicate to senior client stakeholders
- Motivate and build the team to over-deliver against client expectation
- Manage process-driven client requirements, and able to provide strategic digital direction
- Strong knowledge of the digital media industry in Australia with experience across all digital mediums
- Understanding of the role of channels to meet business objectives
