Position at GroupM

GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Manager - Talent (HR Business Partner) to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for building a valuable relationship with personnel in GroupM across levels, identifying and preparing development plans for key and high potential employees. You will identify employees ready for the promotion and rotate the best talents across different functions in the organization.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Talent Leader – GroupM HUB, India

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

You can get a decent grip on the business that you are supporting. You should have developed strong working relations with the stakeholders.

In six months:

You will have started making a significant business impact through your understanding, knowledge and initiatives.

In 12 months:

You would have successfully launched your most important and impactful HR strategy based on the needs of the agency and in alignment with GroupM HR strategy

What your day job looks like at GroupM:

  • Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes at the GroupM’s side Manages complex and difficult HR Projects cross-functionally.
  • Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit for employee matters.
  • Builds a strong business relationship with the internal stakeholders
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implement changes necessary to cover risks and improve processes
  • Design and drive new joinee experience.
  • Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management
  • Designs and maintain organization vitality charts as the performance of the business unit improves
  • Maintain the organizational structure of GroupM and proposes changes.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience
  • PG/MBA in HR preferred 
  • Team Player, Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills
