GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Data Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for plan and initiate digital marketing campaign and activities.
 
Overview of the role 
Legal Specialist will help GroupM and Agency team conclude contracts with both Clients and Vendors,  and make sure company’s transactions comply with laws and regulations as well as company internal policies with advise and guidance by a supervisor 
Successful Legal Specialist will become a candidate for a legal manager.   
Key responsibilities  
  • Draft or assist in the drafting of contracts and legal documents for the final review of a supervisor 
  • Help handle corporate legal matters such as general shareholder meeting. 
  • Perform administrative duties to assist legal operations. 
  • Liaise with Regional and Global legal networks/resources,  
  • Provide legal information to GropuM / Agency team upon request. 
  • Follow up instructions given by a supervisor 
I )  Regular duties & schedule  
  • Local legal team meeting once a week ( it can be either offline or on line ) 
  • Regional legal team meeting once a month ( on line ) 
  • Global legal team meeting once a month ( on line ) 
  • Weekly update of job list 
  • Monthly update of outsourced human resource contracts 
  • Quarterly update of OPT-IN Client List 
  • Keep the legal information updated on GMJ Intranet

  • Collaborate with and support other team members 
  • Build strong working relationships with the Trading Team as well as other GropuM and Agency teams  
  • Always try to apply fair and logical thinking through the issues rather than wishful thinking 
 
Qualifications and Skills  
 
  • Education/Experience:
Successful candidates will have either of the following conditions:
  • Law School or similar level of education or working experience in legal service 
  • 5 year+ working experience in the advertising / Media Agency
  • Language:
Exceptional communication skill in writing and speaking, both in Japanese and English.

  • Experience of working in a multinational environment
