Overview of job

MediaCom is looking for a Media Intern to support the regional team. 

Reporting of the role

This role reports to: Performance Lead. 

About the opportunity:

  • Understanding client’s business goals and how performance media plays a role in the journey
  • Getting visibility on various performance media channels that are available in the industry
  • Regularly checking on key market blogs/posts and also liaising with platform reps to check if there are new platform/product opportunities to try in the digital space for the brand
  • Liaising with internal planners to share any insights on biddable media
  • Understanding the content best practices across all biddable platforms and keeping a check henceforth on whether the platform creatives are as per the known best practices or not and if required raising with the internal stakeholders
  • Regularly attending weekly/monthly calls with internal teams & clients to listen in about regular business updates/requirements/campaigns launches and also raise any issues/suggestions around ongoing campaigns
  • Researching & sharing key market trends around the brand during specific campaigns via channels like Google trends, news articles, Google keyword planner, etc.

Requirements:

  • Studies relating to marketing/communication would be preferred.
  • Good understanding of the media / digital media industry
  • Great knowledge in Excel & Powerpoint
  • Passionate about media & digital media
  • You are a team player with good interpersonal skills and you thrive in an energetic and fast
  • paced environment
