Overview of job

GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Talent Partner, GroupM Nexus to join us.

The Talent Partner acts as a single point of contact for employees in GroupM Nexus. The role holder works closely with Nexus Leadership to define, refine and implement strategic priorities in-line with business objectives. The person also works in close collaboration with Talent Centre of Excellence (COE) and Region team in APAC.At GroupM APAC, our people are our strength, which is why fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion is important to us.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Establish connect with stakeholders
  • Understand & critically evaluate processes and ways of working

In six months:

  • Independently take charge of specific projects
  • Act as a single and trusted point of contact for Nexus leadership and employee groups

In 12 months:

  • Measurable improvement in employee experience
  • Become a trusted advisor for Nexus Leadership on everything related to talent and talent practices

What your day job looks like at GroupM:

  • Be an expert on driving a unique culture and EVP for GroupM Nexus, in line with global vision
  • Drive employee engagement via R&R, townhalls and frequent employee connects
  • Lead opportunities to improve existing ways of working
  • Improve employee experience through continuous dialogue by deriving insights through active usage of available tools and platforms
  • Work on specific projects as defined in the strategic roadmap for the year, with an objective to improving employee experience
  • Proactively address, and escalate when needed, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
  • Monitor and continuously improve HR KPIs (incl. attrition, retention, productivity, TAT etc.)
  • Ensure understanding of all GroupM policies, processes and practices
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise
  • Support business stakeholders and COEs in providing specific expertise when/if needed. Lead and drive knowledge sharing and understanding of new trends and technologies

Minimum qualifications:

  • 6+ years’ working experience as HR Business Partner in a High performing team
  • An experience of working in a matrix set-up would be a plus
  • Masters in Human Resources from a reputed/Tier I institute
  • Basic awareness of Training Needs Analysis, Interviewing skills, Compensation benchmarking, Data Analysis and Learning design
  • Adept with MS Excel and PowerPoint
