Overview of job

GroupM TV18 is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Director - Content to join us.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the National Creative Director, Motivator (GroupM)

Measures of success:

In 3 months, you would have:

1. Adapted TV18 Content’s value proposition and be able to articulate this confidently.

2. Exposed to live and pipeline of assigned client(s) projects to lead ideation and proposals.

3. Started to build relationships with the key decision makers & partners.

In 6 months, you would have:

1. Started to be assigned client’s SPOC on content projects.

2. Started leading content marketing projects for the assigned client independently.

3. Developed highly integrated proposals with specialist units and partners of GroupM.

In 12 months, you would have:

1. A mature pipeline at each stage of opportunity development.

2. Started to proposed and close big opportunities in content with a strong focus on strategy.

3. Run rate that will help deliver against the team’s yearly target. 


4. Developed and executed award-winning content campaigns.

Responsibilities

· Help evolve the branded content and social media offers of the content practice.

· Proactively build, qualify, and manage a pipeline of content opportunities.


· Have an ear to the ground on trends & technology that are changing content.

· Leading execution with a strong focus on strategy, integration, and production

· Manage campaign that help deliver against the content practice’s targets. 


· Show a depth of knowledge of consumers and their content affinities to client(s)

· Deliver and work on campaigns that have a potential for awards and fame

· Be a team player with an adaptive and strong work ethic. 


What you will need:

· Minimum 10 years of experience in ideation, development, pitching and execution of large content projects across traditional, digital, and social media platforms.

· Skilled storyteller and presenter with experience of communicating the benefit of content marketing to clients.

· Strong management experience and skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and 
people not directly reporting to you.

· Excellent knowledge of digital, social media, online gaming and MarTech etc.
