Position at GroupM

As an Associate Partner Account Receivable and Credit Risk Management, you will be responsible for the Accounts Receivable & Credit Risk Management process for the business units managed within the company.

You will be responsible to control optimum Account Receivable aging, minimize overdue and ensure sufficient credit limit of Clients activities.

This position will be reporting to Finance Director

In this role, your key responsibilities and objectives will be:

  • Lead AR team, supervise and monitor AR Manager to ensure that overall AR balances, AR overdues are followed up on and reviewed, cleared on a regular basis.
  • Follow up every AR overdue, effectively do regular communication with Client Finance to ensure Client provide payment schedule to clear the outstanding, escalate it to Finance Director, CFO for any risk of AR collection
  • Review Client credit limit sufficiency, follow up with business and insurance to get additional credit limit if required
  • Provide daily AR collection tracker, do analysis of risk and opportunity of the AR collection in a particular month
  • Prepare monthly AR report, AR overdue report, do proper AR month end closing
  • Perform regular communication with Company AR insurance to update about Client AR position, risk of overdue, risk of uncollectable AR if any
  • Work closely with Region Credit Team to regularly give update on AR overdue position, collection risk, unsecured (uninsured) AR position
  • Work with Risk and Control team on supporting Financial Audit, SOX, Tax audit and Client Audits

 Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in leading Account Receivable & Credit Risk Department
  • Must have experience in dealing with internal and external financial audit. Experience in handling SOX audit related to account payable organization will be an advantage.
  • Good leadership skill as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • High integrity person, good leadership skill as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Approachable, excellent in communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. English
  • Highly developed analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail and trustworthines
