Overview of job 

GroupM Knowledge (GMK) is the ‘Think Tank’ of GroupM. It is responsible for data analysis and insights extraction, and creating an intelligence sharing platform in GroupM. The knowledge management is taken charge by Thought Leadership team in the below respects:

  • Produce regular (semi) annual reports and white papers
  • Update monthly newsletter to Management
  • Conduct specific projects with cooperation with other parties
  • Hold regular knowledge sharing for GroupM
  • Manage GroupM suppliers


GroupM is the leading global media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Data Center Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff to do the media evaluation and the digital media review report at regular intervals.  You are hoped to upgrade the modelling system for program performance forecast as well.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the GMK Thought Leadership Business Director.

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Fully familiarized with all the data/information sources available.
  • Embraced yourself with the team culture and be familiar with company processes and workflows.
  • Be part of one consulting projects.

In six months:

  • Manage one consulting projects independently and plan the sources needed.
  • Identified lesson & learns of the completed work and make improvement plans for the next projects.

In 12 months:

  • Lead the team to deliver high quality consulting projects.
  • Set business goals and self-plan for the next year.


What your day job looks like at GroupM:

  • Manage the ad-hoc projects and deliver the high-quality work;
  • Provide valuable data analysis and insights in every report by leveraging different data sources;
  • Quality control and time management in daily work
  • Conduct evaluation by consolidating the feedbacks from clients for each projects
  • Work with line manager to develop team individual’s career progression


What you will bring:

  • Experience of project management capability and business sense.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to summarize and disseminate key points from datasets and information.
  • An open mind, an attitude willing to learn.


Minimum requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree, better but not limited in business, economics, statistics etc.
  • At least 8 years’ experiences in cross media/industry/consumer analysis
  • At least 5 years’ experiences of project management
  • Excellent at excel, PowerPoint
  • Competent in reading/writing English
