Job Title: Manager - Reporting, GMS India

The GroupM Services (GMS) teams adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high valued and innovative solutions for our Agencies’ and Agencies’ clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.  

The reporting unit within GMS akes care of all the campaign and client reporting. It is set up with the vision to create the base for data driven planning and campaign management.

Reporting of the role:

Reporting to: This role reports to Reporting Lead, Digital Media, GMS India

Measures of success:

In 3 months:

  • Understand the structure and interworking of GMS and GroupM agencies
  • Understanding of GMS functioning, roles and responsibilities of GMS reporting team
  • Understanding Digital Media Reporting
  • Gain in depth knowledge along with certification
    • Media tools – Industry standards and GroupM propietory toolset
    • GMS processes
  • Contribute in building the Digital Media reporting team
  • Standardization of competitive reporting

In 6 months:

  • Project Management of client on-boarding
  • Understand end user/client reporting and dashboarding requirements
  • Translate the requiement for the team to develop a uasable reporting automation solution
  • Handle a team of 3-5 people delivering reports for multiple clients
  • Ensure smooth support to the end users for change management and issue resolution
  • SLA and Quality governance of the output
  • Expert in reporting tools, start handling complex reporting requirement
  • Drive various data and anylytics initiatives

In 12 months:

  • Master of the reporting processes, tools and deliverables
  • Champion best practices within the team
  • Continuously identify improvement areas for process and product
  • Implement new and innovative ideas bringing in improved quality and efficiency

Responsibilities of the role:

·           Project Management of end to end process of client onboarding on automated reporting platform.

·           Manage and guide the team to ensure ontime delivery of reports, end user support and change management for all campaigns for a set of clients

·           Ensure the quality of report (data accuracy, Standar format, naming convention, repository maintenance)

·           Tracking and process governance

·           Dynamic bandwidth allocation and load balancing within the team

·           Developm and maintain relationship with GMS Activation and campaign delivery teams

·           Optimum use of tools and automation

·           Develop fast track training programs for the team

·           Focus on continuous improvement and bringing best practices

What you will need:

  • 4-5 years of experience in Data Management or Reporting Automation
  • Process Driven, Excellent collaborator with good communication skills
  • Industry Software Knowledge & usage – Yumi, IRS, TGI, MAP. Understanding of digital tools
  • self-motivated and ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Proactive in addressing and escalating when needed, on any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverable
