Strategic Planning Manager– Mindshare, China


We are looking for energetic and curious mind to join us to work with the top media-spending client in China. You will be a trusted advisor not just to the clients but internally with key stakeholders within the agency. You are genuinely curious about new trends, cultural insights. As well as capable and experienced with data analysis, drawing actionable learnings from it. Good understanding of China media market and brand dynamics is a plus. 


3 best things about the job:

  1. You will be championing and managing key categories independently working closely with a SP Partner and Director, best of all you have full control taking care of this brand / category.
  2. You will be working with great people from different divisions – strategic planning, tactical planning to gather insights, drive innovations and business solutions for our client.
  3. Comprehensive training - you will receive coaching from senior members of the team and will have plenty of training opportunities locally and within region.

 

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • You will be up to speed with the competitor landscape for the client's industry
  • Demonstrate understanding and ability to use clients using data to gain actionable insights on business challenges
  • Built a good relationship with clients, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders

 In six months:

  • Clear understanding of the category you served.
  • Provided training for the planning team on category learnings and insights

In 12 months:

  • Develop a strong category knowledge.
  • Work closely with planning team, able to identify opportunities for brands relevant to their specific business

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead business analysis work on the client, with regular competitive reporting and brand tracking
  • Keeping up to date with latest category trends, competitors’ moves and bringing actionable learnings to clients
  • Support Partner by delivering quality output in a timely manner and acting as a mentor to junior employees
  • Build trust and meaningful relationships with clients, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders
