Reporting of the role
This role reports to Head of Search & Ecommerce

In three months:

  • Be a trusted expert and leader of team raising your individual and team profile internally and regionally

  • Driving process level improvement for creating operational efficiency and workload
What your day job looks like:
  • Independently manage the assigned teams and implement Search campaigns on major platforms (e.g., Google, Bing, CocCoc) across all GroupM Agency accounts
  • Manage the assigned teams and implement onsite search campaigns on Ecommerce platforms across all GroupM Agency accounts.
  • Formulate Search/Onsite Search strategies for client’s campaigns, ensuring that recommendations and decisions are consistent, imaginative and deliver results. (including draft media schedule) for GroupM agency planners/teams.
  • Support for Agency pitching focus on Search and Ecommerce
  • Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief recommendations
  • Lead and implement Search campaign activities of established local and global brands across multiple industries
  • Attain Google Ads Search and Analytics certifications
  • Establish working models for Search to be used by GroupM Agency teams as a planning and an operations model
  • Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
What you’ll bring:
  • 5+ years working experience in Digital Performance or relevant industry
  • 2+ years in managing a Search/Performance team
  • Proficiency in Onsite Search (Shopee, Lazada, Tiki)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Deep knowledge of Search as a behavior not a platform. Covering Search planning expertise on verticals, social, e-Com, audio
  • Practical expertise in paid Search activation on the global/regional biddable platforms including Search management platforms Google, Microsoft Advertising and relevant platform certification
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Leadership skills demonstrated as the ability to anticipate and remove barrier to productivity, drive teams towards clear goals, take effective decisions and challenge the status quo
  • Strive for excellence demonstrated by setting high standards for yourself and others, holding teams accountable, focusing on continuous optimization while mitigating risks
  • Ongoing interest in digital marketing, industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies
  • Client servicing experience and good interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of non-digital media and the role they play in driving Search
  • Ability to build and maintain a productive collaboration across teams and external stakeholders
