GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Finance and Commercial Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Collecting and reconciling the transaction data (billing, revenue, cost) from multiple systems available in GroupM
  • Creating and maintaining the database and dashboard for reporting, reconciliation and analysis purpose that contain but not limited to billings, accrued revenue, costing, rebates and budgeting
  • Maintaining the balance sheet schedules
  • Preparing the reliable finance analysis

Reporting of the role

This role reports to: Senior Finance and Commercial Manager

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

  • Preparing the SAP-BFC upload and retrieve template for reporting.
  • Understand the finance and business process
  • Understand the reporting process
  • Understand the Revenue recognition process
  • Building a database of revenue from multiple sources

In six months:

  • Establishing the dashboard for revenue reports for analysis, reconciliation, budgeting and forecasting
  • Establishing the dashboard for SAP-BFC reporting, data retrieve and analysis
  • Producing reliable analysis
  • Maintaining the Balance Sheet Schedules
  • Educating other functions in finance and other departments in using the dashboard

In 12 months:

  • Become a reliable business partners
  • Build a good relationship with other departments, clients and vendors


What your day job looks like at GroupM:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Economics or IT
  • At least 3 years of experiences
  • Finance modelling experiences is a must
  • Experience in SAP-BFC or Hyperion
  • Advance excel skills and ability to create a dashboard
  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Attention to detail, yet able to prioritize under tight deadline
  • If you have social working/non-profit activities it will be a plus.
  • Interested candidate should submit the screenshot of the finance model/dashboard he/she ever created and maintained along with their CV’s. If the candidates are shortlisted for interview he/she should able to demonstrate and explain their finance model/dashboard during the interview.
