Job Title: Director - Reporting

Overview of job
Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Director – Reporting to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic inputs based on an understanding of media dynamics and aid the strengthening of the integrated planning product.

Measures of success: 
In 3 months:  
  • Understand the process of the monthly cadence management & reporting  
  • Understanding of roles, and responsibilities of the reporting team 
  • Media tools – Industry standards and GroupM proprietory toolset 
  • Contribute in building Media Dashboard for a set of clients 
In 6 months: 
  • Independently handle complex report customizations  
  • Understand end-user/client reporting and dashboarding requirements  
  • Translate the requirements for the team and develop best in the class reporting automation solution 
  • Handle a team of 3-5 people delivering reports for multiple clients 
  • Ensure smooth support to the end-users for change management and issue resolution  
  • SLA and Quality governance of the output  
  • Drive various data and analytics initiatives
  
In 12 months: 
  • Master of the reporting processes, tools, and deliverables 
  • Champion best practices within the team  
  • Continuously identify improvement areas for process and product 
  • Implement new and innovative ideas bringing in improved quality and efficiency 
Responsibilities of the role: 
·         Understand data and analytics requirements for clients, design best in class solutions 
·         Project Management of end-to-end process of client onboarding on an automated reporting platform.  
·         Manage and guide the team to ensure on-time delivery of reports, end-user support, and change management for all campaigns for a set of clients 
·         Ensure the quality of the report (data accuracy, Standard format, naming convention, repository maintenance) 
·         Tracking and process governance 
·         Dynamic bandwidth allocation and load balancing within the team 
·         Develop and maintain relationships with GMS Activation and campaign delivery teams  
·         Optimum use of tools and automation 
·         Develop fast track training programs for the team 
·         Focus on continuous improvement and bringing best practices  
What you will need: 
  • Can-do attitude 
  • Analytical mindset, understanding of data and ability to find patterns, insights to build models 
  • Strong understanding and experience in at least one of the technologies: SSMS, SSIS, MySQL, Python, PowerBI (and other visualization technologies), Analytics tools 
  • 6-8 years of  experience in Data Management or Reporting Automation.
  • Process Driven, Excellent collaborator with good communication skills 
  • self-motivated and ability to challenge the status quo.
