We have a fantastic opportunity for a Media Planning Manager to work with us on a high-profile global tech client. You will be joining our growing team to execute campaigns across appropriate media channels to reach your client's audience, whether that's tv, outdoor or print. The role is fast paced and varied, it will suit numerate candidates who are commercially savvy, effective managers and business focused. As Media Planning Manager, you'll be the main contact for clients and you will have overall responsibility for developing an understanding of the client's business.

You will have a strong understanding of media strategy, and exceptional knowledge in creating insight driven media campaigns. You should be a natural leader; you'll be managing a team of media planner buyers who will be responsible for implementation of the media campaigns.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of all Offline buying strategies and activation plans
  • Partner with Planning Team and Client Servicing Team to ensure all media activations fit within the broader media and holistic marketing objectives
  • Establish performance benchmarks and KPI goals for respective channels, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Manage TV to deliver on both brand and growth goals and find opportunities for full-funnel collaboration
  • Collaborate with production and buying teams to ensure smooth implementation of the execution of the plan
  • Lead the development and presentation of weekly and post-campaign performance reporting
  • Seek out new vendors / new inventory options
  • Serve as a thought leader in helping to educate key stakeholders of campaigns and the media landscape
  • Stay on top of industry trends, events, new technology, and unique opportunities
  • Supervise, develop and grow the Offline (ATL) team
  • Coordinate the ad ops, budgeting and billing processes (campaign set-up, budget pacing, invoice reconciliation, etc.)

A bit about yourself:

  • 6+ years experience, preferable in an agency environment with good understanding of the Korean media landscape; Experience working with large international clients a plus
  • Fully conversant (planning and buying) across several offline media channels, including but not limited to, TV and OOH.
  • Confident using English in your day to day work, proficiency in written and spoken English 
  • Good knowledge of the Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on TV planning and measurement tools such as, but not limited to, AGB Nielsen Arianna
  • A proven track record in creating strategic and  tactical media proposals and plans, including a good understanding of activation work streams to assure successful campaign launches
  • Strong client relationships and ownership of several accounts
  • Sound experience working at strategic level and making recommendations.
  • Team management to deliver effective media campaigns across integrated channel.
  • Demonstrated excellence in task and workload management
  • Developing and mentoring to ensure exceptional client delivery.
  • Establishing and managing long term client strategies
  • Taking an active role in new business generation
  • A confident communicator; written and verbal. Lead client meetings and presentation.
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Passionate about data, and well versed on the latest industry trends and news
