In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Build an open, collaborative and positive relationship with stakeholders and colleagues throughout GroupM
  • Work closely with HR Director in setting -up, structuring  and launching  the HR Operations Center  
  • Demonstrate good problem-solving skills even when under considerable pressure
  • Build a solid understanding of GroupM, and our agencies, their structure and talent needs
  • A good understanding of various GroupM specific talent initiatives, programs and policies.

In six months:

  • Manage the daily operations of the HR Operations Center and ensure timely and efficient  delivery of HR services based on agreed Service Level Agreement/ KPIs  and provide expertise in the areas of HR systems, rewards and recognition,  compliances /labor requirements  related to employment and others
  • Provide clear and concise advice on HR issues and demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority.
  • Understand clearly the complexity of the business requirements and structure, and be able to successfully manage expectations and influence stakeholders to support the strategy, processes and policies
  • Use quantitative/qualitative data/metrics to provide a regular predictive analysis for business leaders, Talent and HR leaders (local/regional) in anticipation of future requirements
  • Develop a solid relationship with the various HR team members in Manila and Regional HR based in Singapore

In 12 months:

  • Exhibit success factors in the HR Operations Center by increasing efficiency and process improvement within the center which will positively impact the performance of the local HR team
  • Lead local or national operational excellence projects.
  • Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Set-up of HR Operations Center, including integrating business process and systems into the design and ensure roles & responsibilities, process, people, and linkage to other HR functions are considered
  • Build and manage the day to day HR operations/transactional services with high quality and efficiency, including various employee activities such onboarding, employee monitoring, contract management, offboarding, benefits related requests and others
  • Responsible for HR data maintenance (201 and HRIS), filing, benefits management and compliance.
  • Develop and/ or continuously review of effectiveness of HR operations processes and data quality control through HR metrics
  • Assist in documentation processes for HRIS, payroll, benefits for HR Operations Center including those involving Technology/IT.
  • Work with Finance team on matters related to budget and compliance of HR operations processes
  • Continuously drive improvements in vendor management duties including but not limited to payroll and benefits providers. Make sure a high standard of data accuracy and compliance can be achieved.
  • Act as the contact person for employees on a wide range of questions related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.  

What you will need:

  • Bachelor degree preferably business with at least 7+ years’ overall HR experience
  • At least 4 years solid experience in HR operations (Comp and Ben, Reporting, Compliance, HRIS) in a global company
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, strong capability of problem-solving
  • Good team management skills and can work under pressure
  • Quick learner with a positive and pragmatic attitude as well as an excellent sense of priority.
  • Customer-focused with good organizational sensitivity, collaborative and change agile
  • High capability of working independently and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in both English and Filipino.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
