Job Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced and data driven SEO Director to lead our award winning SEO team at  [GroupM Thailand]. The SEO Director will play the leading role in developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies for our clients, ensuring their online presence achieves maximum organic traffic and performance.  

This role requires deep knowledge of SEO, analyts, creative organic strategy building, leadership skill and proven records of delivering organic success to high profile clients.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Lead the SEO Team: Lead a dynamic SEO team that includes, specalists, project managers and content team to deliver best possible service to the client.
 
  • Strategy Development: Design, lead and put together a data driven organic strategy that focus on what work for a specific client needs. The role will require to present the strategy to the client directly and address all their concerns.

  • Keyword & Content Research: Conduct and lead thorough keyword and content research looking at the landscape and success pattern analysis to find the optimal opportunities for organic growth. Setup a process and system for the team consistently able to conduct and conclude research to the highest level

  • On-Page Optimization: Lead and guide the team through on-page optimization and offer clear solutions to the team for the on-page executions to improve overall organic performance and engagement

  • Content Strategy: Lead and develop content strategy for all the relevent clients to drive forward organic growth that aligned with client’s values. Work with all the stake holders to embrace and commit to the content strategy with clear implementation process for the strategy to ensure it’s success.

  • Link Building: Develop and acquisition of high-quality backlinks to help increase organic search ranking performance and push keywords gains to the desired outcome

  • Analytics and Reporting: Lead Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO-specific platforms. Provide deep analysis of what has happen and why with actionable recommendations that would lead to more success. Offer guidence to the team for deep complex analysis and root cause investigation so deliver high level analysis

  • Client Communication: Be the reassuring figure for SEO service for the clients and other key stakes holders. Maintain regular communication with clients to present SEO strategies, progress reports, and insights. Be the key person in communicating and resolving client’s key challenges


  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO technologies to ensure clients remain competitive whiles having a vision for the future landscap of search.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with agency teams, other services teams, other client’s key partners and other key stake holders to ensure effective outcome. Ensure that the working processes for every parties involve with SEO team are smooth and efficient for all concerns.

  • Building products: Build future services products using the team’s talent and skill sets that would excites the team and bring values to the clients such as Conversion Rate Optimization, Social Organic Performance or whatever your imagination takes you!

Qualifications: 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years+ of experience in SEO, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: 
    • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
    • Strong understanding or research and scientific methods in marketing
    • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
    • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Adobe Expirence Manager, Drupal, Sitecore.
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
