Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Manager – Social Media Insights to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for driving social media insights for clients and agencies using cutting edge technology solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to facilitate and deliver proprietary Mindshare solutions that address business and marketing problems for clients in a timely manner. You will require a high degree of comfort with social media listening, digital technologies and market research methodologies.

What your day job looks like at Mindshare:

  • Expertise in using different social media listening tools in the organization.
  • Expertise in constructing search queries for social media listening
  • Understand client objectives, category/competitive trends for various product categories
  • Understanding client brief and translating it into measurable objectives.
  • Experience with data verification, quality control and analytics.
  • Experience presenting deliverables with commentary, verbatim and visualization of data. 


  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Social Listening - managing activities around the various segments (Competitive benchmarking, emotions, sentiment, perception etc.) for brands and individuals on the digital space
  • High proficiency on social listening and monitoring tools, well versed with social media benchmarking tools, broad knowledge of Microsoft office (powerpoint, word and excel) and good presentation skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving approach is a must
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Understanding of general business, digital and social media platforms and technology in general.
  • Clear understanding of concepts such as consumer perception, reputation management on digital, SEO, Communication on social and digital platforms, Influencer led engagement, Management of profiles on social media platforms and other dynamics on the digital ecosystem
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams across different expertise and collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Must be flexible with time and able to work in a shift system including Public holidays and Weekends if the need arises
  • Demonstrate a combination of highly quantitative analytical skills, strategic judgment, and creativity.
  • Someone who is proactive, takes initiative, and demonstrates the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high pressure, and highly competitive environment.
  • Very quick learner, resourceful, with smart problem-solving skills.
