About the role 

This APAC Google Ads TVC role's core function is to manage the day to day running of an always on Paid Media program for Google Ads Acquisitions of SMBs. It will involve driving digital activation best practices, project managing paid media workstreams & contributing to Paid Media strategy for the APAC region.

You will be embedded within Google’s Media Lab team, and will work closely with the Performance Marketing lead, Google Ads Product Marketing Managers as well as a large, well oiled Essence team.

This  candidate needs a deep knowledge of performance digital media planning, in particular how to run large scale, always-on performance campaigns.  They need an intimate knowledge of Google’s various platforms which allows them to be comfortable working with teams that are fingers on keyboards platform-based buyers and Google clients that specialise in these platforms.  

Having run B2B programs in the past is preferred but is not essential.

 

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

Day 2 Day Running of Paid Media Program

  1. Working with Essence & driving Weekly WIPs, Project Syncs & attending Leads Meetings
  2. Structure
    • Working with Essence to ensure account structures are maintained in line with best practices
    • Identify Optimization Opportunities
    • Identify Expansion Opportunities (KWs, Audiences, Languages)
    • Impression Share Improvement Opportunities
  3. Bid Management
    • .Project manage implementation of bidding best practices for SMB
    • Project manage attribution rollout plan as it pertains to bidding
  4. Testing
    • .Contribute to thinking, working together with PMM and be the final approver of test plans.
    • QA-ing test and activation set up.
  5. Reporting 
    • .Ensure global & regional Media Lab & PMM reports are up to date
    • Preparing snippets & project managing slides for local market & regional sharing.
  6. Local Market Campaigns
    • .Project Managing local & regional PMMs, assisting with Essence’s 
  7. Forecasting
    • .Maintain PO tracker with Essence & PMMs to ensure budget adherence & flexibility.

 

Who we are looking for:

  • At least 3 - 7 years of working experience 
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in the Performance Digital Media field 
  • Has in-platform experience especially within Google Ads
  • Having run B2B programs in the past is preferred but is not essential.
  • Has a strong understanding of the digital marketing industry & how digital media fits in.
  • Able to project manage across multiple stakeholders & concurrent workstreams
  • Ability to work independently yet collaborate in a team environment
