Job description


As a head of Reporting Team operating from Mumbai, will lead 4 member team, responsible for international reporting of 9 Indian legal entities, 45 management units and high level review of Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Will be responsible for finalization of annual budgets including quarterly revision, monthly management P&L, balance sheet, submission and addressing questions from APAC / Global. Providing analysis and reporting to assist in managing budget and office economics / key performance metrics. The individual will understand drivers of the business, and provide senior leadership with accurate, timely and relevant information. Will play a key role in managing business, financial and, commercial aspects of CEO, CFO, MD’s, Trading Head, Finance Director’s.




  • Timely reporting of financials to APAC / Global / Local management
  • Ensure financials are accurately projected, monitoring of actual performance against all necessary deliverables agreed with local & regional management
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of business partners, including local offices, local system, regional / global finance, practice areas, and others
  • Create and drive the adoption of improved financial processes and policies through teaming with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Complete ad hoc requests and perform other duties as needed in a timely manner
  • Own and manage initiatives and budgets from start to finish. Preparation of local and international presentations
  • Financing & Accounting strategies for Balance sheet management
  • Creation of deck for Board presentations for quarterly results
  • Creation of business performance deck for CEO, CFO, MD’s and FD’s for monthly results and quarterly budget revision
  • Financial modeling


Specific duties include:

  • Office Budget, Planning and Analysis:
    • Prepare annual operational budgets and forecasts in accordance with regional and global guidelines, business trends in conjunction with functional groups
    • Prepare Corporate budgets and forecasts
    • Support planning process and measures actuals against objectives
    • Support revenue projections, tracking and variance analysis
    • Support investment tracking and analysis as needed
  • Reporting and Analysis for local office:
    • Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business objectives
    • Act as a thought partner for local partner group to help lead business forward on multiple dimensions
    • Act as finance liaison for functional managers
    • Prepare materials/content on key financial metrics and present to local leadership group as required
    • Ensure proper training and coordinate with management on financials
    • Build financial system expertise, local development of financial applications, policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity and controls
    • Support global Finance system with reporting and other initiatives in collaboration with APAC colleagues
    • Since the Company is a part of US listed group it has to comply with SOX requirements.
    • Supporting team in implementation of new IFRS accounting standards


  • Chartered Accountant
  • A minimum of 10 years of international planning experience (post qualification), preferably from media and entertainment industry
  • Experience in professional services environment a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to make presentations independently to senior management (including CEO, CFO, MD’s, Trading Head and Finance Director’s)
