Position at MediaCom

In this role, you will be responsible for to implement customized analytics and attribution strategies to deliver greater media effectiveness for the MediaCom regional Systems Intelligence hub. The role supports and guides the performance teams so that best practice tools and practice are implemented our leading client. They are responsible for formulating testing and optimization, while overseeing the execution of recommendations for optimal performance. The role would be based out of our Asia Pacific centre in Singapore and cover multiple markets across the region.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Head of Systems Intelligence, Asia-Pacific (data science/analytics)

Measures of success

In three months, you would have:

  • You will be up to speed with MediaCom Performance hub’s services, tools and client business
  • Understand our value proposition and able to articulate this confidently
  • Have begun to build a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally

In six months, you would have:

  • Setup digital media performance KPI frameworks for key clients
  • Supported Business Science team in delivering advanced analytical measurement projects
  • Demonstrated the ability to help clients transition from disparate data sets to integrated data-driven marketing

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Ensure best-in-class data visualization and reporting on your projects
  • Build effective working relationships with the MediaCom APAC team (your counterparts in Performance hub, Business Science and other functions)
  • Have a solid understanding for the client’s business
  • Work with your seniors to ensure digital analytics recommendations are aligned and actioned for real world business impact

 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Hands on implementation of client’s analytics accounts to sets the KPI framework for digital activation in line with client objectives.
  • Corroborates all proxy media metrics used as leading indicators for sales; or other objectives aligned between clients and performance teams.
  • Fulfils our commitment to advanced analytical measurement including the application of AI and ML to automate media decision making, along side our Business Science team.
  • Demonstrated the ability to help clients transition from disparate datasets to data-driven marketing
  • Ability to collect, transform, analyze and visualize data
  • Engaged with the test and learn agenda of the alternative growth models
  • Works hands on with visualization platforms to ensure the most relevant information is available to the performance media teams
  • Produce timely reports and dashboards with associated insights and recommendations pertaining to activity generated from Search, Social, and Programmatic activity

What you will need:

  • 1– 3 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related field(s)
  • In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of Digital media and dashboarding/reporting would be a strong advantage
  • Expertise in some, or all the following is highly desirable
    • Programming languages: R, Python, Microsoft VBA
    • Database/Cloud platforms: SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS
    • Visualisation tools: Microsoft Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Datorama
    • Web analytics: Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, comfortable using Excel to manipulate and analyse data.
  • Able to offer expert advice and recommendations with confidence based on experience
  • Superior written, presentation, analytical, quantitative, and verbal skills
  • You should be culturally flexible and enjoy working with teams from across different countries, and be comfortable traveling if required
