We are looking for a Group Head – Talent Operations to join our team. You will partner with our Talent team, Finance, IT, Admin, Vendors and the greater business to achieve process excellence and employee delight.

In this role, your goals will be:


In three months:

  • Demonstrating a strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistent delivery on all the assigned areas.
  • Developing open, frank, and positive relationships with colleagues throughout GroupM Talent Team, Finance, IT and Admin.
  • Building a solid understanding of GroupM, and our agencies, and their policies and procedures.

In six months:

  • Building trusted relationships with the Vendor, having built credibility as reliable and responsive partner.
  • Coordinating and liaising with the vendor effectively.

In 12 months:

  • You would have successfully implemented few process improvements to enhance employee experience in alignment with GroupM HR strategy


What your day job looks like at GroupM:

  • Ensure integrity of all employee data on HRIS and other HR systems.
  • Configure internal HR systems to optimize processes and accommodate policy changes.
  • Ensure performance reviews are conducted as per calendar, processing of bi-annual and off-cycle increments, performance incentives and other payouts.
  • Coordinate with Employee background verification vendor to ensure timely closure of reports and liaison with internal stakeholders for exceptions.
  • Manage 3rd party vendor relationship and ensure associates on 3rd party payroll receive their salaries/reimbursement on scheduled date.
  • Managing end-to-end process improvement - identifying gaps and improvisation of processes with focus on automation / digitization.
  • Utilize process data and metrics to identify business process challenges, recommend & implement innovative solutions for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness that drive the Employee Experience.
  • Establish and own HR Operations Process metrics, identify key trends and drive improvements.
  • Partner with Talent leadership and specialty groups, including People Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and other people teams to anchor and manage key people projects.
  • Work hand in hand with Business partners to translate their needs into system requirements
  • Ensure that the functional groups are trained on using tools and technologies available to drive utilization of tools.

What you’ll bring:

  • Highly skilled in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
  • Exposure to RPA, Adobesign, Sharepoint, Power Automate, Tableau/Power BI, excel automations.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws.
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Ability to collaborate & influence successfully across the enterprise at all levels of the organization.
  • Have high empathy, personal integrity and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts to both a technical audience and to Business oriented audiences.
  • Calm and methodical with brilliant attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks for self and team.
  • Ability to self-manage, with a positive manner and a strong team and delivery focus
  • Ability to perform in a collaborative, fast-paced matrix organisation.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Preferably have MBA or Post Graduate Degree in HR from any reputed institute.
  • Certification in analytics and/or process automation tools will have an edge over others.
  • 10-12 years of experience.
