Overview of job
GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for an Insights Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible to support and lead client teams in understanding the increasingly complex relationship between consumers, brands and communications. Responsible for assessing clients' business issues and developing appropriate research plans utilizing proprietary and ad-hoc research tools both quantitative and qualitative.

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:
- Learn about our business and how your skills and expertise can be applied
- Be trained in our propriety technology platform, data and automation tools

- Made a meaningful contribution to key projects
- Built credibility and rapport with key clients and internal stakeholders

- Made a quantifiable change to how our business operates today
- Consult and manage data, automation in reporting and attribution
What your day job looks like at GroupM:
- Pro-actively assist in the development of processes, tools and methodologies to provide the agency with the consumer insight required to support strategic decision making
- Design, implement and analyze custom primary research
- Synthesize existing research data into key insight and business counsel
- Build credible working relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners both within the agency and with clients
- Contribute to variety of projects including R&D, new business pitches, improving current client planning among others
- Kickstart, define and manage reporting automation projects for clients ranging from media reports to business intelligence reports
- Consult and manage media to business attribution projects
- Manage and maintain GroupM’s propriety technology, data vendors and marketing insights subscriptions
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of digital research or analytics advantageous
- Collaborative mindset - ability to work effectively and inclusively with members of different agencies, disciplines, and brand teams
- A curious and investigative mind to help define, troubleshoot and bring data and reporting automation to life
Minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a research / advertising / or media-related role
- Quantitative research experience (qualitative experience a bonus)
- Experience in managing and analyzing digital data
