We are seeking a social media ninja who loves amplifying brand stories through online channels to excite and engage consumers. Working directly with one of Mindshare’s favourite clients, Campari Australia that boasts a range of highly admired spirit brands (e.g. Aperol, SKYY Vodka, Wild Turkey and the brand new hard Seltzer; Truly) you will support the brands to deliver exceptional consumer experiences via social and online touch points.

This role reports to: Digital Marketing Manager (at Campari)

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Having clear understanding of Campari’s brands and internal planning processes
  • Creating good workflow for monthly scheduling of social media posts and content across multiple brands
  • Establishing effective day-to-day communications with the brand teams.
  • Building an effective working relationship with the agency paid social team

 

In six months:

  • Creating fun and engaging content using Campari assets and posting them in an authentic, engaging format
  • Exploring new media formats and using these in an interesting way (test and learn)
  • Growing online communities through best-practice community management
  • Integrating the social workflow with all agencies and brand teams

 

In 12 months:

  • Help lead a social brief and brainstorming session to come up with big, bold ideas that can be executed on social
  • Being part of client activations and attend photo shoots
  • Being seen as one of the go-to people for social, amongst the brand teams.
  • Identifying insights and trends from Social listening and other data points

 

What your day job looks like at Mindshare/Campari:

  • Assisting with posting and scheduling engaging social content stories for Campari’s fanbase to interact with
  • Smart community management and social analysis
  • Ensure any campaign content has no online break points, publishing the critical communications across all of our owned assets including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and our websites
  • Measuring and optimising Campari’s social posting strategy to ensure our content is best in class, always.
  • Brainstorming social ideas that integrate into the wider campaign and help Campari’s brands embed themselves in culture
  • Capturing story content at activations/events for Campari’s engaged community of fans
  • Keeping up to date with industry changes and latest practices and procedures for social media. Feeding this information into the marketing team
  • Working closely with other Campari agency teams, especially paid social to ensure content is both creative and effective
  • Provide monthly social reports

Ideal qualifications:

  • Deep passion for how brands integrate into culture
  • Communications degree or similar
  • At least two years managing social media platforms for a brand
  • You’re experienced with tools such as Sprinklr and Google Analytics to manage and measure online posts.
