Position at Mindshare

This is a senior position within Mindshare, you are required to develop best in class branding and performance media solutions for your clients. You must be digitally ahead, connected, diplomatic, pro-active, and solution-oriented. You will work with our key clients and new business prospects to develop bespoke client solutions.

As Strategy Leader, you will be tasked with supporting management for growth of new business and also key current clients by developing strong point of view as a Mindshare.

Reporting of the role:
This role reports to the Managing Director

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

In three months:

  • Confidently articulate client portfolios and business propositions
  • Understand and identify opportunities to influence change to drive better planning across the integrated teams within the agency
  • Build relationships with the key decision makers (C-suite) at client side and within the company
  • Taken solid ownership of the integrated strategic product and built an understanding of how this can best benefit your clients  
  • Defined a clear optimization and innovation roadmap for clients

In six months:

  • Marked improvement in new business pitches and key client performance results
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of each channel on performance
  • Gain the trust and respect of clients and key stakeholders
  • Ensure smooth operation between local market and regional teams

In 12 months:

  • Full control of client solutions as part of pitching process and also key performance operations for key clients
  • Upskilled local agency and clients; allowing them to independently manage strategic performance discussions.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Deliver best in class digital media planning solutions for new business prospects and key Mindshare clients.
  • Build & establish strong relationships with the client teams, enable platform best practices
  • Forge and maintain relationships with key strategic media partners to ensure that we are fully embracing new media, technology and data opportunities as they emerge.
  • Understand the client’s business and the digital landscape to deliver insight led communications advice, strategies and high-level plans to clients.
  • Make continuous strategic and activation recommendations based on media owner’s opportunities and innovations and work with the various specialists and/or local teams to ensure effective implementation.
  • Central project coordinator and communicator of all digital projects locally

What your day job looks like at Mindshare:

  • Drive solution development and presentation deliveries to new business prospects and for key client growth projects
  • Primary point of contact for MS local, local Client & regional client – to provide a holistic view of performance from performance channels
  • Ensure maturity framework is maintained and communicated (advancing and improving product and performance)
  • Co-ordinates with Regional teams, clients as needed to develop the future ready strategy on identified projects
  • Drive next level Data science, performance thinking and milestone delivery for the agency
  • Ability to work with media partners and drive key partnership agenda items via QBR process

What you will need:

  • 6-10 years related experience
  • Digital performance all-rounder with proven experience and strong understanding of multiple digital media channels (online display, social, paid search, commerce, SEO, programmatic, etc.) as well as a passionate following of new/emerging channels & technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, being able to confidently and clearly present work to clients, media owners and internal stakeholders. Experience & gravitas to ‘fly solo’ & present to mid to senior clients. Fluency in both Mandarin and English is a must.
  • Hands on knowledge of platforms & tools such as Google, Facebook, Line, Ecommerce, search trends, social analytics, data visualisation & analysis tools.
  • High level numeracy and analysis skills, to be able to interrogate data and coming out with actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence to navigate through complex and diverse structures, silo’s, and dynamics
  • A curious, driven, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial attitude to be able to work independently or to seek out the required solutions from elsewhere in the network
