In this role, you will be responsible for doing market planning, developing synergies across a set of markets, building publisher relationships and have business conversations with the client on media and beyond. We are seeking someone who has regional experience in an agency with a focus towards brand and performance planning along with experience on stakeholder management

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Proactively planning and implementing digital development and growth of the client
  • Supporting key functions including but not limited to Strategy, Media Planning, Reporting
  • Developing strategy and digital channel recommendations to ensure we deliver as per the set targets
  • Working with people across markets to address a client brief and also playing a role to build strategic responses to the brief
  • Periodic conversations with new and upcoming vendors to understand the capabilities and building right Test and Learns linked backed to business needs
  • Working closely with the team to build proposals including fine tuning budget allocation, weights, phasing, site mix with creation of the media plan
  • Be on top of local market nuances and competition understanding to be able to build POVs that can support business strategy for the client
  • Working closely with Media and Brand teams to have a complete view of new and upcoming campaigns
  • Closely working with key clients and build a strong relationship

Measures of success –

In three months:

  • Demonstrate understanding of the media landscape and business challenges and begin to contribute ideas on how to drive client’s business success.
  • Streamlining of media plans across both traditional and digital channels.
  • Contribute to market/Regional drumbeats with POV’s or strategic inputs
  • Getting a hang of drumbeats/cadences across the region to be able to build synergies
  • Begin to develop relationships with the key day-to-day team, client and media partner contacts

In six months:

  • Proactively engage with the MediaCom global & regional teams to continuously identify relevant application / testing opportunities of new products / services
  • Proactively engage with the external partners to continuously identify relevant alpha / beta products
  • Collaborative partner, engaging with people of all levels.
  • Support on Monthly, Quarterly or Annual Strategy reviews to the client
In 12 months:
  • Lead Strategy and Media planning efforts for the brands quarterly, half yearly and annual media roadmap
  • Build 2 Business Breakthroughs for the client helping them to drive efficiencies and increased profit

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3-5 years of media planning experience
  • Form - Experience delivering actionable strategies; good storytelling in verbal and written form
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders (e.g. vendors, media owners and brand teams)
  • Be a strong communicator – English is our global language.
  • Ability to manage daily communication with Global and local Publisher.
  • Understanding and aptitude to translate existing & upcoming technology trends to media /business solutions.
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach, natural affinity with numbers and analysis
  • Ability to leverage data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Data studio is a good to have
  • Style - Must be confident and approachable, helpful and easy to work with
